This is a vintage Turkish rug hand-knotted in a small village in Turkey by skilled Anatolian women during around the 1970s. It is made from natural wool (sheep) and dyed using all-natural (vegetable) dyes. Natural materials are more durable than synthetic materials guaranteeing a rug that can last for years while natural dyes provide colors that gets more beautiful as years pass by especially when in direct sunlight.

Each rug has its own story, and it's up to you to infuse your style and energy into it as it becomes a part of your personal story.
  • We sell and ship from Central Anatolia, a region in Turkey where most of these rugs originate. That being said, the destination for all returns will be Turkey as well.

We pay for shipping to anywhere in the world so you don't have to.

  • All rugs will ship from Turkey for FREE through UPS, DHL or FedEx, with tracking numbers provided.
  • Orders are processed within 1 to 4 business days, excluding weekends and Turkish holidays.
  • Once shipped, delivery generally takes 3 to 7 business days, excluding weekends and national holidays, depending on your location.

Note: Except for the USA, international deliveries to most countries are subject to import tax and customs duties. Buyers are responsible for these fees whenever applicable as they are not included in the price. Kindly check your customs office/website for more information.

Money-Back Guarantee

If for any reason you decide that the rug is not the right fit for your home, you may return it for a refund. We do not charge any restocking fees; however, the refund amount may be reduced by the original shipping cost we incurred to send the rug from Turkey to your address.

The following conditions apply for all returns:

  • Returns must be made within 14 days from the date of delivery.
  • Rug must be in the same condition that it was delivered to you i.e. it mustn't be damaged, washed, altered or soiled.

Important: Return shipping back to Turkey will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Are all your rugs handmade and authentic?
All of our rugs are handmade by skilled local artisans from various regions of Turkey using traditional techniques that have been preserved and passed down through generations for centuries.

We get these rugs directly from Anatolian weavers (or their direct families) who originally handcrafted these pieces decades ago, and we proudly guarantee the authenticity of every rug we offer.
What materials are the rugs made from?
Our rugs are made from hand-spun sheep wool and dyed using all-natural materials (vegetable dyes).

Natural materials are known for their exceptional durability, allowing these rugs to last for generations when properly cared for. Likewise, natural dyes offer rich, timeless colors that age beautifully and often become even more vibrant with exposure to sunlight over the years.
Are these the same rugs we see at high-end shops?
Our vintage Turkish rugs are the same Turkish rugs sold at high-end shops at a fraction of the cost.

As we get our rugs directly from the source (skilled weavers and artisans), you are able to skip the entire layers of the traditional distribution channels which inflate prices. With this, you are able to enjoy lower prices on our rugs.
How accurate are the colors in the pictures?
The images we display have the most accurate colors possible with most of them, if not all, taken under natural daylight. This is so that you can see the rug at its truest colors. That being said, it might also be the brightest a rug will look unless your space has an ample amount of natural light.

Also, the actual colors you see depend on your monitor and its settings. We cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be completely accurate.
Are these rugs historically made with the use of child labor?
NO. Rugs were crafted only by highly skilled adult weavers and artisans (usually Anatolian mothers).

Tracing back the history as to how vintage rugs were made, several people have been involved in various processes including the raising and shearing of sheep, wool spinning & dyeing, and the actual rug making. One generation does teach the next how to do things, but children are not involved in these processes, only as observers.

What payment methods are accepted?
We accept payments primarily through PayPal. With PayPal, you can pay using your PayPal account or your credit and/or debit card issued by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club.
I already paid the order, what's next?
You will receive an email confirming your order and the rug will be shipped within 1 to 4 business days. Tracking number and URL will be sent to you through email or will be available in your Orders page if you created an account upon ordering.
Can I change or cancel my order?
All rug orders can be changed or cancelled within 12 hours from the time of purchase. Kindly contact us immediately.

Shipping

Where will the rug ship from?
All rugs are shipped from Turkey.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping is always FREE to anywhere in the world through DHL Express, FedEx or UPS.

Except USA, most countries are subject to import tax and/or customs duties. Buyers are responsible for these fees whenever applicable as they are not included in the price.
When will my rug be shipped?
Rugs will be shipped after payment has cleared. Please allow 1 to 4 business days (i.e. excluding weekends and national holidays) lead time for order processing.
How can I track my shipment?
Tracking numbers are sent to your email after rug has been shipped with the corresponding tracking URLs which you can visit to monitor your shipment.

If you have created an account upon checkout, tracking is also available in your Orders page. Alternatively, you can grab your order number and use it on our Track My Order page.
How long 'till I receive my rug?
It normally takes 3 to 7 business days (i.e. excluding weekends and national holidays) for a shipment to arrive in your door step. We are not liable for any unexpected delays caused by the shipping courier themselves.
Do you ship to a P.O. box or APO/FPO address?
Sorry, we are unable to ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses for the time being.

Returns

Do you accept returns?
Yes. We do accept returns provided you (i) ship the rug back within 14 days after it was delivered, and (ii) send the rug in the same condition that it was delivered to you.
How to initiate returns?
Kindly contact us with your concern and we will get back to you with the return shipping information.
Who pays for the return shipping?
While we offer free shipping for all customers regardless of where in the world they may be, we cannot offer the same for returns.

Customers will be responsible for the price of shipping the rug back to Turkey. Please take note that international shipping back to Turkey for heavy and bulky items, such as in the case of rugs, can be expensive.
How will my payment be refunded?
Refunds will be made through the original payment method used. Kindly check our Return Policy page for more details.
